triangle Automatically insert and change a number

Use the automatic numbering features of WinMapper to insert a number as text before changing it

The Send Key Sequence, and the Send Keys Loop function, replaces the text <NEXTNO> with the next number as found by executing the Next Number function. This function must have been initialized before used in Send Keys.

This allows you to create a specific text sequence that contains a number which is changed after each use. For example, to insert the text This is number 1000 This is number 1001 This is number 1002 you can create a hotkey with the Send Key Sequence function and the parameter This is number <NEXTNO> <CR> and then execute the hotkey 3 times. Initiate the Next Number function (using a hotkey or access the function from the WinMapper | Functions menu in the system tray) to 1000 with an increment value of 1.
