Double-clicking a window will call the Show/Hide Client Area function. Enabling this settings instructs WinMapper to perform a hide/unhide action whenever the user double-clicks within the blue "Title" bar on any window. The action performed depends on the current state of the window. The first time the user double-clicks in the blue title bar of a window, the windows' size and position is remembered, and the window itself - with the exception of the blue title bar - is hidden. The effect is a moveable blue title bar "holding" the window. The second time the user double-clicks on the blue title bar (the window is in the "hidden" state), the contents of the window is shown again. Care should be taken when using this function. If the function fails (for example if WinMapper is closed and reopened before a window is unhidden) simply resize the window to the desired size manually. See the Microsoft Windows documentation for information on Windows. |
