The main window of WinMapper has 5 Tabs - Settings, MouseKeys, Defaults, Hotkeys, and Aliases.

All the main settings and features of WinMapper are now accessible from the main window, and is described here:

The Settings tab provides access to the standard WinMapper settings:

Simple Mode

Load during startup

Shortcut on desktop

Use Online help

Confirm Hotkeys

Don't show WinMapper in system tray

Show WinMapper if both Windows keys are pressed

Override menu dbl-click to expand/collapse window

Bookmarks 0-9 enabled

Language

The status bar in the lower part of the window displays the latest information about any errors or hotkeys encountered. To update it with the latest debug information, position the mouse over the status bar.

The lower-right of the window (inside the status bar) displays the name of the current profile or the enabled/disabled state.

Click on the Hide button to hide WinMapper; when hidden, WinMapper does not show up in the window list or the task bar. You can also Minimize WinMapper by clicking on the Minimize icon in the system menu. Click on the Exit button to close and exit WinMapper.

Click on the Disable / Enable button to change the current state of WinMapper. This can be helpful if you need to disable WinMapper for a shorter period of time.

The title bar (top bar of the window) displays the current version and registration information. Registered versions hide automatically upon startup, unless motion is detected.
