Start a new instance of the application You may use this function to start a program, open a folder, go to a website, or the like. Anything you would normally double-click or type to use can easily be accessed by assigning a hotkey to the Start Application hotkey.
Parameters: Document - The file, application, folder, or alias to open. State - The initial state of the window. In short, if you wish the application to be minimized, maximized, or in default state when it is opened. Parameter - Any parameters you wish to pass to the application. If, for instance you have set the Document to be WordPad, you may wish to have it open a text file when run. If so, the path of the file to opened would be entered in the Parameter field.
Example of use Description : Open WordPad Modifier : WIN Key : W Category : Run Function : Start application Document : C:\PROGRAM FILES\ACCESSORIES\WORDPAD.EXE State : Maximized Parameter : C:\TEST.TXT
When holding down one of your Windows keys and pressing W, WordPad is opened in a maximized state - displaying the text-file 'c:\test.txt'.
