The Rule window of ScanInbox looks like this:
Below is an explanation of the various controls: Title This is the Title of the rule, and is shown in Rules list the main window. Email subject This is the subject line that the email must match. Subfolder to scan This is the subfolder (under the default Inbox) to scan for matching emails. [...] Browse for folder Click on this button to browse your Inbox subfolders and select the subfolder to scan. Mark as read when processed When this option is enabled, emails are marked as Read after they have been processed. Process unread emails only When this option is enabled, only emails that are Unread are processed. Move to subfolder when processed When this option is enabled, the email is moved to the Failed or Processed subfolder (depending on the result) after it has been processed. These two folders are automatically created under the subfolder to scan when this option is enabled. Actions This is the list of Actions that are run when an email is found that matches the rule. [OK] Click on the OK button to save your settings and close the window. [CANCEL] Click on the Cancel button to discard your changes and close the window. [Add action] Click on this button to add a new Action. The Action window is shown with a blank entry ready to be set up. Note that this is saved immediately, so you must Delete the action if you regret creating it. [Delete action] If you have highlighted an entry in the Actions list, this action will now be deleted. Note that this is saved immediately, and thus cannot be undone. |
