Spinner Software - Mantra

Objectives

The objective is to make enough money to A) buy a small house, and B) being able to pay for one or two full time developers. We'd then be able to not worry too much about our income, and continue to focus on developing great software :-).

Do no evil

Similar to Google's mantra, we will do no harm. We're here for the benefit of PC users, and to help our local community. We believe this should be the basics for all companies - the desire to help people around the world, but also your immediate society. Being profitable is a necessity in order to continue towards this goal.

Advertisements

We sincerely disapprove of attempts to get users to watch commercials / ads all the time. Google has found a good middle ground with their "related" text ads, and the old fashion small banners are Ok. Since we basically pay for the privilege of releasing our shareware products, it would be great to recoup the costs with some form of sponsor or advertisements. But since we are not willing to compromise our ethics, or annoy our users, this remains an elusive goal. So right now we just pay the bills and hope for the best.
